As a student, I agree with you that LinkedIn is a good way that students can build their professional network. This is because it helps them connect with people such as human resources. You can ask questions on LinkedIn about your dream job, for example, what you do every day. As you mention, students need to be actively involved in their professional learning network, it helps them gain feedback if they keep posting what they think and what their problems are, I think they will meet more friends online.
